"Kateryna Dobroier - artist from Odessa. Draws with acrylics on canvases, as well as digital illustration
and watercolor. After the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, in addition to the terrible catastrophe, deaths of people and animals, garbage began to flow into the Black Sea along the rivers, mud and whole houses floated in the black sea. Also this water from the reservoir very desalinized the salty water of the sea, which disturbed the whole ecosystem. Small animals, fish, and baby fish began to die. Large dolphins also suffer from the war. Experiencing this horror prompted me to create a series of paintings "My Black Sea" These are depictions of the inhabitants of the sea, on black canvases. There are five paintings in the series now: jellyfish, sargans, rapine, seahorse, fish. I continue to work and plan 8-10 works in this series. I want to draw attention to ecology and the need for Ukraine's help in this. As our country buries every day not only people, but also ecology. "
