"My name is Walter Pena. I come from Venezuela and I live 5 years in Prague, the Czech Republic. I started to paint since I was 10 years old and since that time painting is my hobby and time to relax for me. I paint with oil, acryl and coffee and cacao. The painting Prayer honours the women of Latin America, their devotion to God and reflects the power of prayer. When a woman needs strength, she asks God for it. Notice her strong, almost masculine hands, which are a sign of her tenacity. Notice also her bare feet, which are a symbol of freedom, and her position by which she is connected to her inner world. "
